Hello, my name is Calum. Working in education for almost a decade as both a certified math teacher and tutor, I had the opportunity to help many different students pursue their educational goals in the classroom. During my own educational journey, I always had teachers and educators going the extra mile to help me. After graduating high school and finishing an enlistment in the Marine Corps, I knew I wanted to give back to students the way my teachers had done for me. I went on to get a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics before getting my Masters in Teaching, both from Seattle University. Throughout my University experience, I was consistently tutoring students in Algebra, Geometry and Calculus both in the classroom and out. This helped prepare me for my teaching career where I taught as a Certified Middle and High school Math teacher. After my teaching career, I worked as an Academic Coach where in addition to math, I helped tutor students in English, History, Science and more.

While the classroom is a great place to start improving education, tutoring is where improvement can really start compounding for your child.
